The Image Excellence Group was founded by Gail Cameron in 1993 in Johannesburg and has grown into one of South Africa’s foremost leadership coaching businesses, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing more than 60,000 leaders across commerce, industry, sport, politics, and the public sector. As the doyenne of the coaching industry, Gail’s passion for developing soft skills led her to create My Pocket Coach — a resource company of specialist coaches built to extend this focused, holistic impact even further. The IE Group holds a BEE Level 2 rating and is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). In December 2023, The IE Group was named Best Global Online Coaching Company by IMEA, and in 2024 was awarded Most Outstanding Executive Coaching Company by the Global Business Awards. An e-learning facility for My Pocket Coach was launched under Gail’s guidance to extend expertise to independent learners and workers.
